The Pocketwatch: 15th anniversary edition

Welcome back. Or for many of you, just welcome.  This is a blog I used to post on quite a bit. A shared diary, if you will, that I lost track of when my life fell apart several years ago. My mother has always had a huge influence on who I am , and for awhile I was not sure she would be proud of the thoughts I would have spilled onto these pages. And while I am so grateful to God that he pulled me out of that place and brought me to where I am now, that is a story for another day and one that would take many blog posts to tell. But this post, the Pocketwatch, is my absolute favorite Christmas Story, one that I used to post every year. Since we are now at 15 years since I first wrote this piece, I though it was worth sharing again. I hope you enjoy reading!
